In the first half we had to look up different styles and techniques and write them out, but in an interesting way and not in a way where we’d just write out the meanings.
This exercise was very useful and interesting, and getting us to illustrate the meanings in a fascinating way was very helpful.
We also had a chance to do print press which was really fun.
It was quite hard to differentiate the letters which are similar to each other, such as ‘i’ and ‘l’ and ‘p’, ‘d’ and ‘q’, as we were working in a way we don’t usually work to write normal sentences.
Afterwards we were able to use the blocks to make our own prints.
